Rice

Ingredients
1) 1 cup parboiled rice
2) 2-3 garlic cloves, finely diced
3) 1/4 tsp kosher salt
4) Handful of raisins
5) Garlic powder, to taste
6) Onion powder, to taste
7) 1.5 cups of broth
8) Olive oil
9) 1 bay leaf, optional
Steps
1) Sautée garlic in olive oil until golden, then add the rice and bay leaf and sautée lightly as well.
2) Add the broth, salt, garlic and onion powder, and raisins.
3) Bring the rice to a simmer and cover. Cook until broth has been absorved and rice is fork tender, approx. 20min.
4) Remove the bay leaf and serve.
Notes
1) Rice cooking time might vary depending on the brand, always check the instructions.
