Ingredients
1) 1/3 cups of sugar
2) 1/3 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
3) 1/3 cups of water
4) 6 milk-chocolate-covered round caramels
5) 6 cups of milk, half-and-half or light cream
6) Whipped cream optional
7) Milk chocolate-covered and/or candy-coated round caramels (optional)
Steps
1) In a large saucepan combine sugar, cocoa powder, and water. Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
2) Add candies; cook and stir until melted. Stir in milk. Heat through.
3) Pour into mugs; top with whipped cream and additional caramel candies. Makes 6 servings.
